How to Buy Altcoins

1. Select an order from the current order book, enter your email address and submit.

2. Pay the described sum to the account shown on the confirmation page by going to any local branch of the sellers bank and filling out a deposit form with cash, or sending a SEPA transfer (EU customers). How to fill out a deposit slip

3. Email the receipt to [email protected]

We send you the coins typically within 3 hours of the funds being confirmed by the seller. SEPA transfers may take an additional 1 to 2 business days to process.

Wire transfers, ACH transfers, check deposits, Wells Fargo Sure Pay, Chase QuickPay and any other unauthorized deposit methods will not be accepted.

Where did BuyAltcoin.us go?

BuyAltcoin.US rebranded to AltQuick.co 8/10/2013. We believe this new brand name better emphasizes who we are and what we are trying to do. We are a sort of hybrid between LocalAltcoins.com and BitInstant.

How do fees work?

We simply subtract our fee from the Altcoin amount before we send it to the buyer. Our fee is currently 2% to buy and 0% to sell.

How do escrows work?

We hold the Altcoins for you until you confirm receipt of funds in your account. Only when you advise us of this are the Altcoin released. You can optionally use a 3rd party escrow but please contact us if this is the case.

Can I withdraw my Altcoins (BTC) from escrow?

Contact support with your modification PIN to cancel a sell order and have funds released back to you. This carries a flat .02 BTC fee.

What currency do I use if I am outside the US?

Orders are bought and sold at the price listed in the currency used in the country of origin. So if an order is listed in EU or CA for $/BTC: 64, that would be 64 EUR or CAD per BTC.

How do I modify the price of my sell order?

Just go to the order modification page and use your modification PIN to change the price of your order or change your email notification preferences.

Can I view the status of my sell order?

Yes! To view pending and completed buy holds on your sell order, click the link sent to you in your original sell order confirmation email, or contact support. You can also receive notifications each time a hold is placed on your sell order.

Can I use AltQuick to launder money?

Not a chance. Any suspicious holds, especially larger transactions, may be subject to government issued photo identification. This is only subject to AltQuick.co discretion. Failure to present identification upon request can result in Altcoin funds not being released.
